JR CHRONICLES-SAATCHI GALLERY
JR:Portait Of a Generation 2004-2006
These photos that JR has put up around the country are meant to target people at there happiness moments he did this intending to make a contrast to how these people see themselves compared to how the media portrays them. Furthermore he places them around the city to show people around what the people are experiencing. JR shows a completely different side of people compared to how the media shows them during the riots.
IN MY RESPONSE
In the making of the poster we had to take photos of the person in a white background doing this would essentially make the person stand out choosing any background would pull the attention of the client we then had to upload the pictures onto a website to print them of after the process was complete we then had to place them up and take pictures of them around the school.
GORDON MAGNIN
Gordon Magnin creates these colour assimilation grid illusions by selecting a part of the persons face (singling it out) and copying and pasting it all over their face he mainly focuses on the persons face more than anywhere on their body he uses a range of shapes to disfigure the persons face
I like this kind of work because it leaves a mysterious feeling to the person behind the artwork and leaves them utterly unrecognisable to the human eye therefore giving the person in the artwork a ghost like appearance.

ALMA HASER
Haser creates fascinating photos/ portraits of people then edits them as if they are a puzzle this creates a kind of illusion that tricks the mind he deliberately moves key details of their face structure all over the place so it looks as if they are not looking directly into the camera. Looking at the these images it is clear that these images to an extent of their body being out of shape.
He creates these different techniques using a different background each time with a colour that stands out therefore we don't just look at their distorted body we also see the individual colours that have been mixed into the persons body.
It makes me interested because seeing all the bright colours and the way she edits these pictures because it looks beautiful. Being a young person and seeing art I'm actually interested in makes me happy.

PATRICK CONILLET
In this task i was required to take and edit photos of buildings in our school the steps we had to take to achieve the final piece we had to edit large sections of background and edit it white essentially this would give of a floating effect to the viewers eyes initially this is a kind of illusion.
MY PHOTOS
In my response to Patrick Cornillet we took pictures of buildings around our school and then edited certain layers out of it this created an affect that showed the building to look as if it was floating in his original set of photos above he takes pictures of highway bridges stair cases and the side of buildings
in particular we to photos just outside the car park I mainly focused on the pillars that lined up across of the building and then on photoshop i took out the brick wall in the background and the cement pavement that lies underneath of the pillars to make it look like its floating.

MAUREN BRODBECK
MY PHOTOS
MY RESPONSE
In the taking of Mauren Brodbecks photography we had to take photos of focused building initially doing this we would have to edit a section of a specific building and highlight it with a bright colour to make it stand out against all the other buildings.
Personally I like this type of photography because it brings out the hidden concepts of the forgotten buildings in a street the use of bright colours utilises the viewers eyes and they would be drawn to the bright colour.
The photographs are of forgettable, boring, mundane buildings and when she adds the bright colours to them it makes them stand out so the viewers will be able to spot the immediately.

Kellner
He uses pictures of buildings and alters them and puts them into box sections and manually places them into portraits of boxes without photoshop.
This method of editing takes a building and scrambles it into pieces and then he resembles them into boxes again to construct an unnatural structure this leaves an unsettling feeling in the viewers head as they would see this structure as unnatural and does not belong their.

IN MY RESPONES
what we had to do to create this photo masterpiece we had to take pictures of buildings that had a lot of sky in them following that price we had to make the image look deformed just like Thomas kellnar this process was achieved in photoshop the main process of it was to duplicate and delete layers to give it a deformed look

MALICK KEBE
My Response
What I like about this artists work is the use of hiding the persons identity through LED (light emitting diodes) essentially turning the persons body into a silhouette. the silhouette creates a mysterious feeling through the pictures he has taken. the shadowing effect can also emphasise emotion or hidden feelings through Kebe's art. For my development i am going to be using LED lights and the model I am going to use I want them to bring out the natural shape of there body.
In this piece of artwork which is called aesthetic essentially it brings out a zealous feeling to the image and how the viewers see this image therefore when he takes these photos he brings out an aesthetic feeling and an aesthetic atmosphere.

KENSUKE KOIKE
The editing that kooks uses in his art work shows the how much the human face can be deformed. by editing his pictures in black and white it helps to create a wider image span of how much detail can be put in a picture. The artwork in particular is called 'nothing added nothing removed' essentially he contradicts this statement by altering the person.
MY RESPONSE
in my response in taking and modifying Kensuke Koike's photos I initially analysed his photography and to multiple photos of my client and each individual piece was edited via photoshop essentially the main aim of the editing process was to do different unique patterns
FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
The further development Kensuke Koike features bringing in peoples inspirations and powerful figures in society, for this idea brings happiness and takes me out of the darkness and transports me to the light for individual viewers i personally think acquiring body part or facial feature of your obsession or inspiration can bring delight to someone who is feeling down.
In this piece of artwork, originally Kensuke Koike takes individual pieces of the persons face, for me personally feel like it brings out more to the person that meets the eye as a contemporary visual artist, to a viewers aspect of his work they'd probably feel like this artist has used and completely taken advantage of this skill that they have acquired over their years of being an artist.
The key looks of people can create a mind twister for the audience. We look at people and expect to see their faces straight away.

My Response
In the making of this i used photoshop to remove Nathan's facial features and placed them on the famous persons face essentially placing them onto the persons face instead of the other way round
DEVELOPENT 3
NADIA SAWARR
About Her Life
Before she became a photographer Nadia was a fashion influencer on Instagram and thanks to her 'Frou Frouuu' blog she gained even more popularity,
She then used combinations of different photos to create her artwork.
She then used combinations of different photos to create her artwork.
I have decided that my next development is going to be Kensuke Koike. I chose this artist because of the way he alters a persons face with simple edits essentially disfiguring a persons face and and leaving some of their normal face features would leave a distorted feeling in the viewers eyes and essentially uses a famous persons specific facial features to replace their own.
To achieve this I had to acquire a person in which they looked up to or an individual inspiration (e.g a famous person) and print out a photo of them and cut out their eyes, nose and mouth and using each piece to hold it infant of the own facial features initially substituting it.

PETER LIPPMAN
The artistic aspects that Lippmann use in his art work showing his viewers, certain fruits that either go off or are overripe initially this piece of artwork in particular shows how deformed the fruits can be overtime essentially this provides the viewer with a photochromic image
This piece of artwork in particular brings out the darker side of natural objects and things brought out by the earth initially the grapes and fruits going off and their colours colours going darker shows a darker turn these fruits make.

Final Piece part 2
This is my final piece I have taken inspiration from artist Nadia Sawarr, i decided to carry on developing her work because it grabbed my attention and caught my eye what i like about Nadia's work is that she takes time to create each piece she carefully takes a picture of someone and makes it into a portrait then she tares holes into it letting the person stick parts of their face into the portrait. In contrast to her work i had to set up a canvas from each person and then took photos and made it into a canvas I then used a stanley knife to cut lines similar to patterns on it to create an effect.
